eleV8T is a 10-12 week training program for individuals seeking to acquire life-changing professional skills and build a career. Enrollment is free, so there is no out-of-pocket cost.
“eleV8T gives my children a bigger and better future.”
At the start of high school, my vision was to graduate, become a secretary, rent an apartment in a dilapidated complex, and buy a used car.
My outlook did not extend beyond the confines of city life. My experience, like many of those around me, was of drifting through life. Then I met my high school track coach.
He was the first person to tell me, "You can do it." He kept saying, "Trust me. If you stick with me, I will get you a scholarship to college."
He believed that with determination and enough hard work, a person could grow and change. His hard work with me paid off when I was awarded a full scholarship to play Division I basketball. A coach's guidance altered the trajectory of my life.
I created eleV8T to be the catalyst for change in someone's life like my coach was in mine.

In April 1896, George Washington Carver received a letter from Booker T. Washington of Tuskegee Institute, one of the first African American colleges in the United States.
“I cannot offer you money, position or fame,” read this letter. “The first two you have. The last from the position you now occupy you will no doubt achieve. These things I now ask you to give up. I offer you in their place: work – hard work, the task of bringing people from degradation, poverty and waste to full manhood.”
